Interact Club of Grosse Pointe South High School is a student run community service club

The Grosse Pointe South High School Interact Club is a student run community service club sponsored by the Rotary Club of Grosse Pointe.
Students elect officers each spring. This Executive Committee plans the club’s weekly meetings, leading discussions on potential service projects and fundraisers.
Projects in which students have recently participated include sorting food at Gleaners and medical supplies at World Medical Relief, raking leaves for seniors, collecting children’s books for a city school’s library, planting trees and gardening with The Greening of Detroit, and packaging food for Kids Against Hunger. Students also assist local non-profits at events with face-painting, marshalling, sorting auction items and supervising children’s games.
Fundraising through a car wash and bake sales allow the students to donate funds to charities of their choice.
Weekly meetings are held on Thursdays at 3:10pm. in room 297
