Harper Woods SOUP

This Microfinancing community dinner has a mission to promote community-based development through crowdfunding, creativity, collaboration, democracy, trust, and fun. Harper Woods residents and guests from around the state come to have a dinner that consists of soup (and much more ) served and hear different business pitches or creative ideas that will benefit the community. People pay for the cost of the meal, the money goes into a big pot, and after everyone has eaten, a winner is selected by those attending via a vote, and the money goes toward their entrepreneurial effort.
