Brandon Elliott joined us tonight for his new member presentation.
Brandon was born and raised in Dayton, OH surrounded by friends and family. In high school, he was involved in student government as the student government president and was the president of the Interact club. He later attended the University of Cincinnati and majored in operations management. In college, he was selected to be an ambassador for BMW, learning leadership skills and how the car industry works.
Following college graduation in 2015, Brandon got a full time offer from BMW in Greenville, SC. While working for BMW in SC, Brandon helped launch the BMW X7. While working for BMW, Brandon met his future wife Carrie. Carrie and Brandon got married at the Dearborn Inn in May of 2022 while living in SC. Later in September 2023, Brandon and Carrie relocated to Grosse Pointe, MI to be closer to Carrie’s family. Carrie has a large polish family, which in recent years Brandon has been a part of the various polish traditions Carrie’s family has, like making kielbasa.
When Brandon is not working, he enjoys learning more about architecture, specifically Albert Kahn, and traveling. This past Christmas, Brandon and Carrie travelled to Vienna and Budapest to enjoy their Christmas traditions. When moving to Grosse Pointe,
Brandon knew that he wanted to be part of the community, which is what led him to our Rotary club. Thank you Brandon for sharing!
