Kelly Larson shares on her work with Alliance.
On July 16th, we were joined by Kelly Larson, who shared about her work with Alliance.
Kelly has been a dedicated advocate for education and community engagement. Through Alliance, she helps lead initiatives that keep families and residents informed and involved in local GPPSS matters. Alliance sends out a monthly newsletter, runs an active YouTube channel with recorded committee meetings, and attends every school board and committee meeting to ensure transparency. They also write editorials, make public comments, and always prioritize the voices of students in their advocacy.
Kelly encourages everyone in the community to get involved- whether by attending board meetings, staying informed, or using their voice through emails to the Board of Education and public comments. Their social media presence, @Alliancegpps on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, continues to grow as part of their campaign to spread awareness. The group’s guiding motto is simple but powerful: “Informed, engaged, take action.”
In addition to this important work, Kelly is a familiar face at community events and discussions, where she shares Alliance’s mission and encourages neighbors to participate.
