Taylor Mae presents on Creative Mornings Detroit.
On June 11th we were joined by Taylor Mae, the inspiring host of Creative Mornings Detroit.

Taylor is an award-winning founder, producer, host, speaker, writer, and coach dedicated to empowering individuals, communities, and businesses to align with their highest potential. She graduated from Oakland University with a double major in communications and public relations, and has since made a tremendous impact in Detroit’s creative ecosystem.

Creative Mornings is a global movement, now in 249 cities across 70 countries, offering free monthly gatherings that celebrate creativity, connection, and community. Here in Detroit, nearly 300 people attend each month. The gatherings feature live music, coffee and pastries, art exhibits, a variety of speakers, and partnerships with local organizations and events- including most recently, the Movement Detroit Festival and Detroit Design District.

What makes Creative Mornings Detroit especially unique is that it is entirely volunteer-run and funded through sponsorships. Taylor shared how this effort brings the Detroit creative community together and highlights local talent in powerful ways. We are especially excited about Creative Mornings’ newest partnership with Art-ology, and the many clubs they collaborate with, including The Edit Club, Coffee Club, After Hours Club, and Mending Club.

Their next gathering will be on Thursday, July 18th at 8:30 AM at the Boyer Campbell building in Detroit. Thank you, Taylor, for sharing your story and passion with us!
